But yes, if you're just playing Prophecies, sticking to Axe is probably a good idea...ah well.
If you have Factions, get Dragon Slash. If not...Ah well. Crippling Slash gogo?

I have all stand alones and the exspancion and I'm not sure but I believe I have 200 and havn't done the bonus missions. But yes you are right I read wiki wrong.

Well I certainly didn't mean a damage elite was the only choice, though I think in most PvE situations its the best use of the elite slot.
dark_prince2023: If your character is Elonian or Canthan, you might not have noticed at the time that the quests you did gave you +15 attribute points... they go by quite quickly in those campaigns, compared to Prophecies. Either way, if you have 200 attribute points, you definitely did them at one point.

I like this one. but I would use http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Barbarous_Slice instead of http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Sever_Artery. and I don't know if I would use flail sine I relly don't care about trying to fight faster probubly would use Crippling Slash or Defy Pain or Body Blow

Please note; he's joking about using Mending and Live Vicariously. Rebirth can be used if you don't need your secondary, though, and /Mo can also bring Mending Touch. Just a note to everyone.
IMO use Standing Slash/Galrath or something instead of Sever/Gash. Haven't played in a while, but I don't like to use Sever/Gash in a typical DSlash build.

I currently use them both and almost never take a rez since as stated early on in the thread I usually go alone as in I take no one with me. if I do take someone with me its always henches and there only there if I have to run away and need someone to sacrafice hince I love to flag.

While Live Vicariously! and Mending can be argued with for a farming Cyclone Axe/Triple Chop warrior, both of them are very impractical in terms of usual game play.
Mending has been bashed enough already, if you want any references I'll dig them up for you.
Live Vicariously!, while numerically nice, is prone to not healing you when you need it the most. For example, when you are dying, ten health or so per second hardly changes anything; besides, you can kite, and that would defeat the purpose of using LV! entirely. And when you're not being bashed on, LV! does squat. The only times I can think where LV! can be useful is when you have very slow but steady damage, but that can be remedied by a monk's LoD.

The only viable Monk skills that warriors can use in General PvE, IMO are:
[card]Rebirth[/card]
[card]Mending Touch[/card]
[card]Resurrection Chant[/card]
[card]Empathic Removal[/card]
What I would do:
Put a minor Strength and minor Tactics instead of 2 Vitaes.
Drop all attribute points in whatever Monk attributes you have and put them into Tactics.
Add:
[card]Healing Signet[/card]
[card]Resurrection Chant[/card] or [card]Rebirth[/card] or [card]Resurrection Signet[/card] or whatever rez you want.
[card]Flail[/card] or an IAS of your preference.

I would go with somthing like this
Flurry(-dont lissen when ppl knock it go try it for urself does the job GREAT
Quivering Blade
sever
Gash
Galrath
Steel Fang (great combo Btw)
Bane sig
Healing Signet
tons of Dmg but not alot of heals. you could always use somthing else in place of Galrath like Enduring Pain or somthing if your group isnt great.

Many people say endure pain is trash... and I agree, and without any kind of self heal its even worse.
With henchmen you can get away with it but in a real group your monks will be screaming at their montiors for you to not use it, well I guess so, having never played monk. ^^

Crippling Slash is redundant if you're already using Sever or Barbarous Slash
Only bring Body Blow if someone in your group can cause Cracked Armor.

yes by that build I would have 2 elites and I will never use sever as long as barbarous exists there is no point in ever using sever if you can get barbarous.

So I don't take a stance. So 1.Barbarous slice, 2.Gash, 3.Sun and moon slash, 4.Dragon slash, 5.Crippling Slash, 6.Signet of Strength, 7.Defy Pain, and for the last spot 8.Signet of Judgment or 8.Signet of Rage and just convert all heros to monks. So that gives me 5 monks and 2 of what ever else I want to take. That means I drom all my attributes from healing into smit. Will this work better and remove me from the ranks of uber noob to noobish? lol So thats lv 10+2 for sword lv 11+1 strength and lv 10 smite thats 199 attribute points.

Nope. You can only have one elite on your bar at once. You have three, four if you take Signet of Judgment.
Stances are excellent. Limiting yourself to Barbarous over Sever is going to gimp you a bit in my opinion. Flail really is an awesome skill. Barbarous is nice if you are taking a build without a stance (for some reason), but otherwise Sever is still the premium option for most builds, and in my opinion Crippling Slash doesn't add any extra utility in PvE that Sever doesn't already give you.
Furthermore, if you try to take 5 monks (Ogden, Dunkoro, Tahlkora, Mhenlo, Lina?!), you're going to have problems killing anything. Even the best damage warrior build needs a heavy damage backline behind it. In my experience there's nothing that requires more than two monks.

Yes 5 monks are overkill but I wasn't refering to 5 actual monks 3 of them will be monk secondary most likely casters. and for the elite skills well I guess I didn't read but I believe the term I want to use has a game named after it starting with BS now I remember why I never bothered with elites.

I strongly recommend "bothering" with elites. Just pick one, though
